In one of my last posts, I believe in March, I talked about the college coach from Culver-Stockton approaching me to see if I was interested in playing for them. I wasn’t so sure about the idea of moving across country to play for a small school located in the middle of nowhere. It has since then come to my attention that it was also a Christian school, making the option seem even more bleak and fading away. But about a month ago, I received a call from the head coach of said school.
We talked for about thirty minutes and went more into detail about what would be asked of me if I did come to play for him. He asked me about what I wanted to major in, and when I responded with Physical Therapy, he told me great things on the kinesiology program in the school and how it was a very popular with the soccer program and the athletes of the school.
After we had a conversation about what I wanted to study, he talked to me about the area and how the campus is so small. He explained to me that if I was to go to the school without visiting it first, I may not enjoy being there. And if you don’t like where you are living and going to school, it will not help you or the school’s team. So overall, he invited me to see the college and practice with the team on June 22nd, and I think I am going to take him up on the offer.
